Palestinian Authority accuses Gaza militants of trying to kill Rami Hamdallah
An explosion struck a convoy carrying the Palestinian prime minister as he made a rare visit to Gaza, in what the Palestinian Authority called an assassination attempt.
The blast occurred shortly after the vehicles entered the coastal enclave through the Erez crossing with Israel. Three cars had their windows blown out, and one had blood visible on the door. Seven people were lightly wounded, according to witnesses.
