Attorney general says lobbyist is a ‘patriotic Australian’ after former trade minister expresses fury at ‘cheap politics’

The attorney general, George Brandis, has attempted to mollify his former colleague Andrew Robb, who has reacted angrily to the Coalition’s foreign interference crackdown.

The government confirmed on Tuesday it would introduce legislation that aims to counter incidences of espionage and improper foreign influence within Australia’s political system.

I was engaged by Landbridge to assist with biz negotiations in China & other countries. While Landbridge has a variety of investments in Australia, I have not, & was not engaged to deal with any of these. I have done no work for them in Aust. so this new leg. doesn’t apply to me.
